Forests, Beaches & Walks

There are many great local walks. One of our favourites is the short walk from Kilbride Farm to Ostel Bay Beach which has a large sweeping beach and a stunning view of the north coast of Arran. 

The Hollies is also on the route of the Loch Lomond and Cowal Way, a 57 mile long distance footpath from Portavadie to Inveruglas on Loch Lomond. Stretches of the route are great for local walking from the house. 

There are many great local gardens and forest walk to visit including Ardkinglas Woodland Garden, Colintraive Community Garden, Glenan Wood and Kilfinan Community Forest.
